Creepy Creations - The Rumble Bridge

A short film highlighting one of our home-made Halloween props. The "Rumble Bridge" is a vibrating bridge which shakes violently beneath the feet of unsuspecting trick-or-treaters as they traverse it. A loud vehicle horn also lurks underneath and sounds off a startling blast for additional scare value! When triggered via pushbutton, a powerful motor with a counterweight underneath the "Rumble Bridge" begins to spin rapidly. This causes the bridge to shake. The motor was from an old electric scooter, and a 5 ounce fishing weight acted as the counterweight. It was attached with a simple bolt and rod mechanism. The bridge itself is mounted on a series of bouncy rubber balls. These allow the bridge to shake more easily and provides a slightly squishy, unstable feel. In addition, a car horn bolted to the top of it's 12 volt PC computer supply lurks under the bridge. This can be triggered separately by a pushbutton, sounding off a powerful and startling blast!
