Aircraft data such as engine rpm & power, runway speed etc is extracted from flight sim and used to generate matching motor vibrations - doesn't use the flight sim audio output so allows a wide range of tuning of individual vibration components.. A brief demo that shows me taking an abends spaziergang (German for, "evening walk") with the LEDTronics VestLED on. Yes, I did indeed say, "WALK" here. After requiring a mobility aid such as a cane, walker, rollator, electric scooter, motorised wheelchair, etc. for more than 20 years (since mid-1992), I was suddenly able to walk again on the afternoon of 02-08-13 -- it's as though the, "Cant Walk: Have Multiple Sclerosis" light was on all this time, and somebody simply came up & kicked the plug out of the wall!!! The LEDs' blinking appears a bit irregular here: this is due to how the camera operates vs. how the human eye operates. In reality, the blinking is perfectly spaced with no "skipped beats". Their newest creation is an electric scooter that can fold in two. Amazingly, the portability takes on a whole new level as the vehicle can then be wheeled around like a suitcase, meaning that there is no parking space required. The scooter is constructed of a carbon fiber body. It weighs a little over 50 pounds and it can reach speeds up to 28 miles per hour. Per charge, the battery allows for a little under 22 miles worth of travel. The vehicle also contains a pedal generator. The company has been working on the scooter for nearly five years and finally released the new prototype. Production is slated in begin in 2014, with retail price predicted to be anywhere from $3100 to $4600. Would you buy it?

Futuristic motorcycle won't fall down Ever see a Weeble ride a motorcycle? Probably not, but if you did it might look a lot like the C-1. The all-electric bike/car hybrid being developed by California startup Lit Motors features a pair of counter-rotating gyroscopes mounted flat at the bottom of the frame that not only allow it to stand upright on two wheels when stationary, but make it nearly impossible to knock down. The company has demonstrated the vehicle's unique abilities with a full-scale prototype, and claims the C-1 will be able to take a hit in the side from another vehicle without falling over. The two-wheel pod requires a motorcycle license, but is entered via a swing-out door with windows, driven like a car with a steering wheel and pedals and offers tandem seating for two people. A monitor mounted in the middle of the steering wheel will handle infotainment functions, and many of the C-1's systems, like charging, will be controlled via a smartphone app. The production version will have electric motors in each wheel with blue illumination that give it a very Tron Lightcycle appearance. The company says the C-1 has a range of over 200 miles per charge a steady speed of 65 mph. Production isn't likely to being before 2014, but Lit Motors is accepting reservations with a $250 deposit toward an expected $19900 price after federal tax credits are taken into account. 3 seat electric velomobile made from 1/8" plywood. Even the floor is super thin plywood. My battery died about half way through the tour. The rear wheel is a hub motor from an electric scooter. The swingarm is mounted to 2x2 thin steel plate dropouts sandwiched between about 3 layers of thin plywood and covered with fiberglass. The shocks are bolted to a ~5X5 board which presses up against the top of the wheel well but swings down for easy access.
